Step #1: New Patient Appointment
To start your care plan, we have you come in for an initial appointment. During this session, Dr. T.C. Lackey II, D.O., or another member of our team will discuss your symptoms, medical history, risk factors, and more to understand your unique concerns.
This appointment gives us insight into your personal situation to provide the most effective treatment, tailored to you. We also welcome any questions you have about vein disease or our treatments, so you feel more confident and informed about your care.
Step #2: Ultrasound Diagnosis
After we have a good understanding of your risk factors and any symptoms you are currently experiencing, we usually set up an additional appointment for an ultrasound diagnosis. This painless, in-house session confirms the presence of faulty veins and impaired blood flow.
Although we can often see visible darkened veins on the skin’s surface, advanced ultrasound technology also allows us to see the health of the veins, their blood flow patterns, and the surrounding tissues to inform our treatment options.

Step #3: Our Vascular Treatments
Our providers choose the best treatments for your unique situation. We have solutions for everything from minor vein complications to more serious vascular issues.
Sclerotherapy
This non-surgical approach closes spider veins and enhances circulation. With sclerotherapy, you can have legs free of web-like vein formations, enhancing your confidence.
VenaSeal
One option for treating varicose veins or vein disease, VenaSeal, consists of an FDA-approved medical adhesive. This “glue” permanently shuts varicose veins, relieving their symptoms and reducing their appearance.
Varithena
Varithena consists of a microfoam solution that collapses damaged vessels. This FDA-approved solution reduces bulging varicose veins and the discomfort they can bring.
Wound Care
Our providers can treat venous ulcers, which result from excess pressure in the veins. These ulcers rarely heal on their own and can lead to infections, so we provide adequate care and cleaning while educating you on how to do the same at home.
